I am a philosopher of science based at Research Center for Integrative Evolutionary Science (RCIES), SOKENDAI, Japan. My main interests are in epistemological issues in science, including the scientific realism debate, scientific representation, and confirmation. I'm also interested in the relation between philosophy of science and research integrity, as the latter also concerns epistemological norms in science.
I'm currently analysing philosophical implications of emerging technologies such as machine learning and data assimilation.
